Who we are
ZERT is a community of like minded individuals that trains to be prepared for any one of numerous natural or man made disasters that have and will occur in our lives. Hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, criminal attacks, or any type of situation where being prepared, trained and most important, armed with the proper mindset is required to see you and your family through to safety. ZERT was officially launched in Las Vegas, November 2011 and now has 23,000+ members in 41 different countries! Over 600 of these members are located in Las Vegas Nevada USA. Members are divided into Squadrons. A Squadron is an area/country represented by a letter/s, for example, the X Squadron represents the West Coast of America. Each member of ZERT is assigned a Call Sign and a Squadron designation. The Call Sign highlights the time you joined the unit, the letter is where you are located. The letters XP prior to a call sign were only awarded to the first 100 founding members “Plank Owners” (e.g. XP001 = West Coast of America, founding member number 001, aka “The Boss”!) Members can find other squadron members by being invited to their respective Facebook Squadron Page ZERT

TRAINING
ZERT is made up of Tier 1 Special Forces Instructors who have the ability to teach civilian members the most relevant and useful methods of avoiding or surviving a catastrophic event! ZERT fosters a friendly and safe environment for people from all walks of life and backgrounds to interact, learn and train together. The prepared and survivalist mindset is a bridge for many people who otherwise may not seek out traditional training courses. Through being a part of ZERT they are exposed to many different opportunities for enhancing their skills. Participation in ZERT Training courses also creates safe students with a foundation in the basics that can be applied to courses and activities anywhere in the shooting and training world.. By being a part of ZERT they are exposed to many different opportunities for enhancing their skills. Each ZERT member can take it as far as they wish to go, at their own pace with the emphasis being on a safe fun experience for all involved.
