Do you have to be a member to attend a ZERT Class?
No. We welcome everyone and training is a perfect way to introduce new people to ZERT

Are there age requirements for ZERT classes?
That depends on the class, students under 18* must be supervised by a VILIGANT guardian. * Exceptions may apply.

What are the round counts and necessary gear needed?
Every training event is posted on ZERTNation.com complete with all of the necessary equipment and ammo requirements.

Can I host ZERT training on my property?
While we envy the opportunity to shoot in your backyard, we require every location be licensed and insured as a range. If for some reason an accident were to happen on YOUR personal property YOU are responsible & YOU may be sued. Not only will YOU have to deal with police and the investigation but YOU will also have to potentially pay all of the medical bills associated with the accident not to mention if someone were to die in an accident YOU may be charged/have increased financial burden.

I/My buddie has XXX years as a XXX instructor; can I set up ZERT training?
No. See example above, just don’t do it. The risks are too high.

How can I become a ZERT Instructor?
New ZERT Instructors are personally vetted and qualified by XP001. A personal recommendation from current ZERT Instructor is the preferred method of introduction.

We strive to offer unique training opportunities with high-level instructors at very reasonable prices. Class fees are based upon range fees, travel costs, insurance costs and instructor fees. We schedule instructors and ranges based on the number of confirmed participants. We understand that there are times when life happens and you may need to make a change to a reservation, but please don’t sign up if you are unsure about your ability to make it.

How do I get a refund on a class I cannot attend?
Refund requests are honored at 100% if Z.E.R.T. receives confirmed notification within 6 weeks prior to the class date. (unless specified otherwise on the event)

What if I am less than 6 weeks out?
Less than 6 weeks there are no refunds.

Can I transfer my class reservation to another person?
Yes. Just contact HQ (702) 767 9378 to update the roster.

Can I find a replacement by posting it on my Squadron/State Facebook page?
Yes. However payment must be made to Z.E.R.T. by the replacement student and refunded by Z.E.R.T. to the original participant. No $$ should change hands directly between members.

What if I cannot get to the range due to bad weather/act of God?
As we book ranges based on the total number of confirmed students we cannot offer refunds due to bad weather/Acts of God. We endeavor to reschedule classes where bad weather may cause any interruptions.

What if I cannot make the rescheduled date of my class?
Contact HQ ASAP, once the new date is announced and confirmed. You have 30 days prior to the new date before the new roster will be confirmed and no refunds will be given.

What is Z.E.R.T.?
Z.E.R.T. is a membership based organization that uses the Zombie as a metaphor for any one of numerous natural or man made disasters that have and will occur in our lives. Hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, criminal attacks, or any type of situation where being prepared, trained and most important, armed with the proper mindset is required to see you and your family through to safety.

What is a Squadron and a Call Sign?
Members are divided into Squadrons. A Squadron is an area/country represented by a letter/s, for example, X Squadron represents the West Coast of America. Each member of Z.E.R.T. is assigned a Call Sign and a Squadron designation. The Call Sign highlights the time you joined the unit, the letter is where you are located.

What does "XP" mean in a call sign?
The letters XP prior to a call sign were only awarded to the first 100 founding members “Plank Owners” (e.g. XP001 = West Coast of America, founding member number 001, aka “The Boss”!)

What is a "Plank Owner?"
Plankowner is a term used by the United States Navy. The origin of the term is the implication that a crew member was around when the ship was being built and therefore has bragging rights to the "ownership" of one of the planks in the main deck!

How can I find members in my area?
Members can find other members located in their area by requesting access to their respective Facebook Squadron/State Page. See Squadrons page for each Squadron/State Facebook Page

What age do you have to be to join Z.E.R.T.?
There is no age limit to become a member of Z.E.R.T. our youngest member was just a few minutes old!

Does my Z.E.R.T. shopping cart login information give me access to the forums?
No. The forums are separate from your shopping cart login and you must register individually on our forum.

When will I receive my order?
Many of our Z.E.R.T. products are made to order, so it can take up to 3 weeks prior to shipping. You will receive an email confirmation when your order has shipped

Can I give a membership as a gift?
Yes, just enter the recipient's info in the SHIPPING fields and add a note in the "Order Notes" section that it is a gift for (enter person's name).

What if there is a problem with my order?
Use the Contact Us page and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

Can I place an item on back order?
Yes, you will be notified when your order has shipped.

Do you offer APO shipping?
Yes, just fill out the checkout form like you normally would with the proper codes for your APO.
- What if the item I want is out of stock?

Are patches something that can be earned via training courses or are they just really cool patches for sale?
Irregular Warfare and N.S.S. are patches that cannot be purchased but must be earned. Check out how you can get your hands on them!
